Caunton Chippendale is the full brother to Michael Jung’s 2024 Paris Olympic Gold Medallist Fischerchipmunk.
Sired by the long World No1 ranked eventing sire Contendro I, who needs no introduction. He is the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 World #1 Eventing Sire and World #25 Jumping Sire! He is also the only sire in the world in the top 20 of the CSO and Eventing rankings, with also some international winners in Dressage.
His Dam Havanna is by the former leading World event sire Heraldik xx and there is no doubt that Heraldik has been the most successful sire of eventing horses ever, at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky Heraldik xx had five direct offspring.
At only 4 years old Chippendale has the most incredible temperament, attending the AES Grading at the British Breeding Stallion Event which was his first ever outing and taking it all in his stride and passing with flying colours.
Standing at 16.3hh, Caunton Chippendale commands attention with this athletic and blood looking appearance. He has three beautiful paces and has always been incredibly well balanced for a young horse, showing great boldness and technique over fences.
