Originally established in 2005 by the Peace family in Caunton, Nottinghamshire. Caunton Manor Stud founder Victoria Wright had the philosophy to start a breeding programme that would take years to establish, to get the quality of breeding that she had always desired.

With the help of some of the industries top professionals, the search began to find some of the best mares for Three Day Eventing, Jumping and Dressage. Once these mares were proven in quality they were then ready to be used for embryo transfer or as broodmares with some of the worlds best stallions. In 2015/16 stallions also became a big part of the future of Caunton, again using the same theory as the mares. There are currently seven stallions available through Caunton Manor Stud, all with world class pedigrees and ability for the top of their respective equestrian sport.

Through our breeding programme and unique selection process, we are also able to offer some outstanding young horses for sale, as well as world class top level event horses which are produced in house at our professional training facility.

New for 2024 is the ‘Catch Up At Caunton’ podcast series and ‘Inside Caunton’ monthly documentary that is featuring on the new Caunton You Tube channel.
